1) Check resellerratings.com 2) If it's too good to be true, it probably is. 3) Google the store name to see if there are any reviews, etc. about the site. 4) Make sure you use a credit card (not a debit card, not a transfer from your bank account), preferably an AMEX.

btw, what is the site?on top of that, use paypal/google checkout if it's available use a "virtual" credit card if available through the CC company

That sounded odd to me as well. It might be that ESL OP means he/she is going to buy everything and then would post the link to the site.

One thing I like to do with suspected scam site is to take a block of text from the site, such as from the "about us" page, and throw it into google. Lots of scam sites rip off legit sites, so if you find another site with the same exact text, there's a pretty good chance it's a scam site.
