Dear Sir or Madam:
I received unemployment check for almost an year from last October to this September. I have not been given even 1 extension. The California EDD sent a letter saying that I should have earned 1300 between September 28, 2008 - Septermber 28, 2009 in order for me to be eligible for unemployment continuation. I earned only 1040 on September 29, and September 30..Monday and tuesday and my contract ended on Sep 30.
What are my options Can anyone tell me why the unemployment check extension did not come through
I cannot contact EDD because their numbers are always busy busy..
I greatly appreciate your help.
Thanks

Get a job, deadbeat!
edit: Seriously, you have been mooching off the state for a full year.
Further edit: This should be moved to finance, I am sure he would get a lot more help over there

Go to the unemployment office in San Francisco.
You'll get an extension there.

If you received unemployment for a whole year, I believe you must have already received an extension.

Damn shame a thread like this thrives on Veterans day. Happy Veterans Day. That being said: I'm getting the chills, even in Beverly Hills.
