Using Wal-Mart gift card for prescriptions

Does anyone know if there are any restrictions regarding using these in the pharmacy section to purchase prescriptions? I got conflicting information when searching online. Thanks?

Don't most cards state on the back of the card or w/paperwork they were sent with what the stipulations are?
