As the title says, I want to use Serve by AMEX to receive money. I am selling a high-dollar item on Craigslist and due to the cost most people want to pay via credit card. I despise Paypal so I want to use Serve.
Question: What can I do to protect myself from charge-backs? The item is an electronic gift card so I would not have a tracking number to prove I sent anything.

CL = cash. What you have now is a perfect plan to be ripped off. There is no way to really protect yourself other than cash, USPS money order, or WU payment. In any case item should not be handed over w/o cash in hand. Of course being a gift code you will not find many buyers willing to accept those terms. You could try something like PlasticJungle.com or the like, though I haven't used them so can offer no review. Maybe others can.
