I have a purchase of an item I'm selling on Amazon Marketplace, but the shipping address is a Holiday Inn Express. I'm thinking about cancelling the order since this seems very risky for credit card fraud. Does Amazon protect me from credit card fraud? I can't tell if the buyer is hotel management or a guest (there's no room number).

As with eBay, you must ship to the address the payment service advises.

I understand that I have to ship to the address Amazon specifies, but I can choose to cancel the order if I don't want to take the risk. If there is a chargeback because the card number is stolen, does Amazon protect me?

I think I shipped to a hotel once (eBay). It worked out OK. I can see where you might be nervous though. No one can tell you for sure if it's safe or not, you'll have to decide for yourself.

I think Amazon already takes things like fraud into account before they give the go-ahead to ship. You should be protected as long as you get tracking/signature.
