I ran into another problem recently. I shipped Fedex ground to canada and I marked the item as a gift. Now fedex has sent a bill for customs of $26 because they couldnt collect from the receiver? I thought the receiver was responsible for the fees? |

from the OP said:Customs broker fees:
All of the major carriers charge a fee to the buyer to get packages through customs. Rates vary by country.
...
Cautions:
1. FedEx will attempt to collect from the buyer, but will release the package to the buyer without being paid the broker fee. If that happens, they can and will go after the shipper (you) to get that fee. |

You can fight Fedex on it, of course. They may allow a one-time courtesy reversal. But, I'd bet buried in the shipment paperwork is a notice that you get to pay it if the buyer doesn't. |

Dbtz, do you have expanded SPP? If so, no, you have zero coverage sending to Latvia. Your coverage is limited to shipments to United States, canada, and the U.K. Please go read the PayPal FAQ for additional info on SPP coverage. |

Has anyone received delivery confirmation through Priority? I usually send via Flat Rate Envelope so don't get tracking. But I have a package that I would like to get tracking on. Also, does the FRE on Express Mail offer tracking? |

Also, does the FRE on Express Mail offer tracking? Yes, but FRE doesn't track when shipping International Priority. I don't know about express. |

Also, does the FRE on Express Mail offer tracking? I ship a lot of International Priority FRE too. You don't get tracking to most places except France - got 2/2 delivery confirmations Germany - 2/2 Don't know about Express Envelope... |

Do you know about Canada? No confirmation for FRE to Canada (0/20+), UK (0/10+), Australia (0/20+), Sweden (0/10+) |

Priority FREs should not ordinarily be tracked. You might get lucky, but ... Express FREs should be tracked always. Tracking is a part of the Express service. |

Standard international priority (not flat rate envelopes) is tracked to most destinations. |
