I won an item last night and tried to pay right away with Paypal, but after I logged in, all the fonts are in Chinese characters (no english words) I encoded the fonts from windows toolbar, deleted the cookies and tried to log in again, but still did not work.
This morning I tried to pay the item again, using my computer at work, and it still gives me the same problem. All the English words are gone and replaced with some Chinese words and some squares.
Are you using the old or new PayPal homepage? If the old, near the top right there should be a dropdown to change the language. Here is a screenshot.

Tlax, Yes I am using the old PP home page. I never knew that pp has an option to change the language. I do not why it defaults to Chinese as I do not read Chinese.
BTW, I found out that my paypal account was limited. After I did the required actions, my paypal is now restored and able to pay the item and the language back to English. Go figure.
