There is ecrater which will submit your listings to google base and not charge you any fees.

I found a really cute eBay alternative online seling community www.newyorkexchange.com. The fees are based on just a one time very inexpensive membership and you can also link to your own store if you like

www.newyorkshopexchange.com is a good one

eCrater has been allright; I've made a few sales there..and can't beat no listing or final value fees!
ioffer - Rarely sell anything there, and I've found that site to have the highest percentage of non-paying bidders.
Bonanzle- I've made several sales there; mostly a result of Google search, thanks to google base.

A problem with Bonanzle is that they put links in your item description to the same item on Amazon and that Bonanzle will make a greater commission if the buyer buys on Amazon rather than on Bonanzle.

UPDATE: Rather than a link to the exact item on Amazon, Bonanzle is now providing a generic Amazon link. The result of complaints?

Atomic Mall runs ads on the site to other sites which sell stuff (such as eBay), but I have not seen links in item descriptions to the same items elsewhere. Multiple sellers have reported they are getting better sales on Atomic Mall than Bonanzle.

NB. Bonanzle quickly deleted an entire thread when the affiliate links to Amazon were mentioned.

I have sold things on atomic mall but it is slow. I have over 1000 items listed.

I found a pretty decent alternative to eBay called thebuynsell.com. It is no where near the size of eBay, but it is 100% free to sell items. I have a bunch of items listed there for sale. I haven't sold anything yet, but the site is fairly new so i'm just waiting it out until things pick up. Actually i have sold a few things, but the transactions were never completed because i never got a reply from any of the buyers. I figure its just the usual crap you run into with a new site. Here it is if anyone is interested thebuynsell

The problem with ebid is that they are built around auctions. If you want to list an item at a fixed price and run it until it sells you have to pay to list.

I now sell most of my stuff on Amazon but the fees are so high and items go for so little, lately I've been determined to find an alternative... iOffer's great but there are many non-payers and NPB credits are applied to your iOffer account and not back to your cc. Ebid does require you to pay a listing fee and this can add up. Last week I found an alternative that I'm willing to try but haven't listed anything yet Finds it , the site charges no listing fees and only charges you a FVF after you've received payment via Paypal or Amazon. It a fixed price venue for those that of you that aren't interested in auctions.

Funny you found that site last week considering it was registered about 3 weeks ago and went live last Monday.

I do like eBay, and I have been using their service for a few years now. I'm super unhappy about the increasing rates though. I'm trying out ioffer.com, but I haven't made a purchase just yet.

I would love to find an eBay alternative. I also had an issue with a buyer. 4 years hard work down the drain because someone didn't read the listing. I have bought and sold since on craigslist and google.com/products. I also go to auctions and pray for things I want to be there, and sometimes they are! Sometimes I get tempted to take the easy way and just give in to eBay...lol They have so many new rules there in the last year it is insane. I did go back in and sell some Hershey Park tickets and opened new accounts with both eBay and paypal. They are still holding my money because the buyer didn't leave feedback yet! I wish there was something wonderful like it used to be! Let's keep looking!

So far I have used eBay,I-OFFER and Amazon Marketplace with different decent results, which 1 or 2 should I try next?

Anyone having luck with the alternatives? I usually buy; just put something up and can't believe the outrageous fees! It doesn't really seem worth it.
