Try LootSlinger.com. It launches 09/09/09. It will change the face of online auctions. There will be open communication between buyers and sellers. Great tools to help promote your auctions via Facebook and Twitter. Customer service that will actually put the customer first.

Check out LootSlinger's Facebook page or at www.LootSlinger.com.

I found a pretty cool auction called DubLi. The website is www.dubli.com. I have purchased several items at pretty good prices. The only drawback is that it is a reverse auction meaning to view the current price you have to purchase "credits" and upon viewing the price you either purchase the item at that price or try back later and hope no one else buys it before you do.

Anyway, to give you a little tip....prior to actually signing up as a consumer, someone told me that some of the affiliates for the company were giving away free credits and that they distributed these credits through software called "Cinch" and that I could find these people by doing a Google search....sure enough, I did a search for "dubli cinch software" and found several individuals willing to give me free credits.

Anyhow, just thought I would throw this out there for anyone that is interested.

James

atomic mall or ecrater will be next for me. Bonanzle has been very slow even with google base implemented.

A friend of mine just recommended me to become a fan of circuspop (www.circuspop.com) on facebook. They've got a lot of fans so I guess they're pretty popular. Looks like some sort of reverse auction site and their website says they've got free shipping until October 31.

There's a penny auction site that just got started. People are getting some great deals since there aren't a lot of members yet. It's www.theauctionsquirrel.com. I've read some good things about it at www.pennyauctionwatch.com in the forums section.

Anybody heard/used BidRodeo www.bidrodeo.com? What are your thoughts?

A rather new site providing an alternative to eBay is bisibat (http://www.bisibat.com). This site caters to collecting groups by providing trade and want lists for items. Although buying and selling of items is the typical transaction type conducted, trading is useful for collectors.

The site is entirely free to use (no fees).
