Just saw this out by Costco, may be a way to accept credit cards in an affordable way.

Free terminal and fees seem pretty low and some waived for members..May be better way than payal

Reading the fine print i would suspect a good number of transactions end up costing more than what is listed there... I don't use paypal enough to know how well it compares though.

Rates listed are for qualified transactions. Reward cards process at a higher rate. Contact Elavon for details. A monthly minimum charge applies when qualified transaction fees and per-item charges are less than $20 per month. Annual interchange or assessment increases by Visa or MasterCard may affect these rates. Rates and fees may change without notice. Rate and acceptance are subject to underwriting. Call Elavon for all terms and conditions.

Probably similar to Sam's Club.

They do it through First Data, and it's about 2% for non-swiped, $20 minimum in fees each month, and if you don't have the upgraded Sam's membership another $5/mo. However, they give you a basic business membership for free with the processing.

You can bring your own terminal and they walk you through reprogramming. I got one on eBay for about $130.

This is why I'm a member of BJs instead of Costco.
