I'll be using it to buy things maybe once every 2 months or so, but would like a good reliable one that I can trust all my info with. Thanks in advance for any help!

Why don't you ask this in Auctions.
I thought about it but that forum only has like 6 postings. I don't think anyone looks in there.
That should get you started. Do a search for more discussions. Welcome to FWOA. ![]()
Laxy wasn't so mean to the n00bs when she was the duckie.
hi
well what works for me is Hid Bid.
It works for me all the time. It's instant and super fast. It bids on your auction in the last 5 seconds. It has never failed me, unless my maximum bid was too low.
Good luck, enjoy!
You know it's funny but I use the free version of auctionstealer, and you can't bid as close to the end of the auction as with the paid subscription, but on a couple of occasions I ended up bidding the same high amount as another bidder and won the item because it was ~20 seconds before end of auction instead of ~5 or whatever it was at the time.
I use this one:
http://www.myibay.com/ - myibay ebay bid sniper
You can set your snipe time. It supports groups (bid until you win some specified number of items), different currencies, secure login etc.
And most important... it's Free.
I recently started to use Bidingscheduler. and I got 2 successful bids.
However, I lost 2 others I should have won if it dealt with the bidding better. Once my maximum was lower than ANY current bidding price, then my bidding on this item will never be submitted. But the problem is then people withdraw bidding, then I lost a great opportunity to win!
Dose anybody know a good bidding site to conquer this problem? for free...of course.

The one I mentioned above does not have this problem: myibay.com - ebay sniper - it snipes no matter what.
You will loose only if your snipe is lower than a current bid, but it will snipe your amount anyway.
It's free to try and free to keep. You can also use it with Firefox add-on:

DO NOTE USE THIS ADD ON. See my thread here about how I suspect that my eBay account was compromised from using this add on.
I use Justsnipe...

If your account was stolen, then there are could be many many reason.
I've heard some scary story when someone complained that his eBay and PayPal account got stolen because he used it for another eBay sniper.
Why PayPal account if sniper needs eBay account only? Because that user used the same login and password for all logins (including simple and non-secured forums which are all over internet now) so basically you could get login/password of that person from any forum he uses and get access to all his data.
Many online forums can be cracked easy.
If you still can't trust your info to snipers, then you could simple create a brand new account and use it for sniping only.
I've heard many snipers go this way and feel secure.
ixman,
Thank you for the recommednation. Indeed, Myibay works better than Bidding Scheduler. For one thing, it can slove my previous problems posted here. For another, it is a secure login process, not like the non secure login at Bidding Scheduler. It is alos FREE. I have not won any auction yet becuase my price was set too low. But overall, I like it.
