Has anyone tried Tandil Ultra Liquid Laundry Detergent from ALDI ?

Seems to be a very good deal - they say it is like Tide, but I am not sure I dare to try it!

Tandil Info

Why not try it? What have you got to lose? I always buy whatever is on sale, or the cheapest, as far as laundry soap.

My clothes are clean regardless of what soap is in the machine. Really doesn't matter at all what brand one uses.

Consumer Reports seems to think that it does matter what soap is used - they have clear favorites over other soaps, as far as keeping the clothes clean. Perhaps they are just washed up ? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border=0>

I put the clothes in the Maytag, and after awhile of swishing, rinsing, and spinning out the clothes come.

They always come out clean. I never have the feeling of wearing dirty clothes. I feel the brand of soap used has a minimal effect on cleanliness at best.

Perhaps CR is able to quantify degree of cleanliness, but I feel the measurements have no real world meaning.

The soap industry puts tremendous effort into making you believe their brand is somehow best. By building brand loyalty they are able to charge a premium price for a product that performs no differently than the competition.

If it sounds good then I'd say go ahead and try it out. If it's not up to par then in future loads add in some oxyclean or whatever and that should get you through the rest of the bottle or box.
