I WAS USING PLAYTEX DISPOSABLE LINERS FOR THE FIRST 2 MONTHS OF MY SONS LIFE AND DID EVERYTHING RIGHT ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS ON PACKAGE . MY SON HAS NOT STOPPED BEING FUSSY AND ACTING AS IF HE WERE STARVING . I DECIDED TO MEASURE THE AMOUNT I WAS PUTTING IN THE LINERS WITH A ACCURATE MEASURING TOOL AND FOUND OUT THAT 2 OUNCES OF FORMULA WAS ONLY COMING TO THE 1 OUNCE MARK OF THE LINER SO I HAVE BEEN GIVING MY SON 1 PART FORMULA TO 3 PARTS WATER WHICH IN HAND WAS STARVING HIM AND COULD BE CAUSING HIM TO BE SICK AND FUSSY . SO IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE LINERS PLEASE MEASURE THEM FOR YOURSELF AND CONTACT ME AT VONSTOVALLS@YAHOO.COM PLEASE SO WE CAN POSSIBLY END THIS AND STOP ANOTHER BABY FROM BEING HURT BY IT . P.S . THE BOX SAYS PRE CALIBRATED OUNCE MARKINGS FOR EASY MEASURING !!!! WHAT A LOAD OF SH** !!!

I'm just gonna go out on a limb here and say that she's not too happy about these liners. Agreed? I wouldn't be either, that's really dangerious for a little baby.

... Or you could just feed the baby whenever he's hungry. People who breast feed have no way to measure what their babies eat, and they turn out just fine...

Breastmilk is "premixed".

The point the OP is making is that if you use the premarked measuring marks on the liners/bottle the formula is being mixed incorrectly. Instead of 2 oz. per however much water, they are saying that it is in fact only 1 oz. of formula. The resulting mixture would be too watered down and therefore very unsafe.
