I'm in the market for a small, portable LCD projector. The only model I have ever experienced using is the Sony model VPL-CS5 that came out about 5-6 yrs ago which cost around $1500. I found the Sony to be an excellent product which is still in service at the organization that I made the purchase for. Since then I have not used any other model nor kept up with lcd projector market. Can someone recommend a small portable design comparable to the VPL-CS5 with similar or better performance? I plan on using it to watch movies hooked up to my laptop. My budget is around $5-700. (I'm assuming the prices have come down a bit...)
