Just wondering if any members have ever used nushoe.com or any of the renewal by mail services for their Ecco shoes. Nushoe.com is endorsed by Ecco, but I wondered if anyone else has any experience or reviews regarding the nushoe.com or a similar service before I pay $75 for the service.

i did the ecco thing, i slid mine in as a warrantee deal, with a hole being worn in the liner from the back of my heel. In reading the terms and conditions, i was surprised that they would not remove the sole, only to sow another sole on top of the existing sole. I was pleased with the work, but not sure that i would spend half of the money to have a pair resoled in this manner.

When i bought the shoes from nordrstoms, and then later got the ship back bag, i was told that 9 out of 10 people are just sent a new pair of shoes. ymmv on this, as that may just be a shoe guy selling his wares.

if the sole isn't warn, i wonder what a local cobbler would do with them.
