But if you check the terms and conditions, you will see that In-store rebates are valid on in-store purchases only. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Limit of one rebate per household, per product, per offer. All eligible products must be purchased during the promotion period (as stated above) and must be identified on one receipt. All rebate submissions are subject to purchase validation, returned products are not eligible for rebate payment. Product may not be returned for full purchase price once the rebate has been fulfilled. Customers who receive a price match, of any type, will not be eligible for the rebate. Those who receive a rebate and later receive a price match, will have the value of the rebate deducted from the price match. In-store rebates are valid on in-store purchases only. BestBuy.com rebates are valid with online purchases only. Gift Receipts are not accepted as proof of purchase. Best Buy and its fulfillment companies are not responsible for incomplete, illegible, late, lost, mutilated, misdirected or postage-due requests. All rebate materials and requests for each rebate must be sent in separate envelopes, postmarked by the offer deadline, and sent to the address listed on the Rebate Form. Fraudulent submission of multiple requests and/or providing false information disqualifies this rebate request and could result in federal prosecution for U.S. Mail Fraud. Best Buy reserves the right to deny and/or disregard any rebate request if deemed to be false or fraudulent. Rebate checks are paid in U.S. funds. Information submitted with any rebate request will be handled according to the Best Buy Privacy Policy, which can be found on www.BestBuy.com or by calling 1-888-BESTBUY. Offer void where prohibited or restricted by law. Requests from Best Buy employees will not be honored or acknowledged. Keep a photocopy of all materials submitted for your records.

Go to B&M man! It is still available AYOR - Only one of the $27 rebates is valid when you buy it in-store, not both of them. |

this shi_at is very confusing...the online coupons say ONLY online orders are valid...is choosing pickup in store after paying for it online considered as an online order? |

I don't see too much controversy here. I was able to get the item into my cart for instore purchase using the javascript trick, and was also able to apply the 10% online coupon (although I did have to put some overpriced Energizer AA batteries into the cart to get over $100. Anyone have any cheaper filler items they can recommend?). Didn't try my luck with Ebates. All the rebates should apply since it's still an online purchase and there was no PM involved. Will pay with my Costco AMEX and see if I can get my hands on a CompUSA flyer to do the BVG later.
RE/ the BVG pricematch: If anyone lives close to a CompUSA and wouldn't mind mailing me one of the sale flyers showing this item, I'll PayPal you your postage cost plus $3. The nearest one is 90 minutes from me. Lately AMEX has gotten picky about seeing the actual printed ad complete with sale dates. PM me if you can help, thanks in advance. |

so isn't it better to use b&m local 10% off coupon and print the 3 coupons on the product page?
but the receipt is in-store receipt.if they find out it's in-store purchase,I am afraid they may deny the rebate |

I got screwed on their Seagate drive deal a few months back - their rebates are regional, and they don't honor website rebates if purchased in store. Pass... (and BB sucks). |
