Most Nokias use the same. But go to Nokia to be sure, check their dc cord number for both models.

jeffkhlam said:How's this tmobile to go plan compared to free2go? I know free2go was bought over by cingular, and seems to me that cingular prepaid plan sucks. However, I checked tmobile to go plan, kind of expensive, isn't it? (min/$ wise)
RE: I checked tmobile to go plan, kind of expensive, isn't it? (min/$ wise
It is 10 cents a minute, buy the $100 1000 minute card. And after then when you add the 1000 min's it becomes something like 1150 minutes. Read other forums on FW, sometimes the $100 card is $90.00 or less.

It depends on which rebate you're hoping to get. Obviously you won't be able to get both rebates (the prepaid AND the family plan). The Amazon price is only good if you sign a 1 or 2 year contract. This one (Prepaid) thers is no contract. You only add $ (which will buy you minutes) when you need it. If you don't use the initial $15 in 60 days, they do expire. And I think you might lose the number assigned to you. T-Mobile will charge you if you want to re-assign another number to that phone again.
However, after you get your rebates back from the prepaid ($55 total), you might want to talk to a T-Mobile rep about adding a family plan WITHOUT buying a new phone (and thus no new contract). I haven't done this personally but sometimes they might give you some kind of pricing break? Worth checking out...
Hope that helps. I just ordered this phone. I also got an older Nokia from HSN last year, when it was about the same price. It was a AT&T TDMA phone, which was kind of rare...

Use a new account and different CC, nice deal. SO what do we need to do after we get the phone, activiate it? how do we do that? New to tmobile to go. Everyone will just get a $100 refill for a year sake? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks. |

RE: SO what do we need to do after we get the phone, activiate it? how do we do that?
You call an 800 number form a land line. All is done by punching in numbers and you do not talk to any live person. The voice promps are easy. The only info they ask of you is your birth date. I suppose for(later id in case of a problem) No names. You then when asked put in your area code. They will read off the areas in that ac and you pick the one you want. They tell you to wait up to 24 hours for all features to work. It is usually very quick.
As far as no names, of course Tmobile may have who the phone was bought buy through the rebate.
