For this promo, in my case, first rebate was entered in 2nd week in Feb... I have another one entered in end of Feb that should have been mailed out, but unless I complained it would have stuck until mid May...

I asked to get it 'expedited' since they were not honoring their T&C which stated 8 weeks from processing to 'receive' the check.

Again, they are trying to pull a 12 weeks for mailing the checks from processing date. Processing date was already 4-8 weeks after being mailed.

got my 2 $165 rebates today (I got one from office max as well)

Got mine today w/o calling at all. Mailed 1/11.

Got it, only sent it earlier in January. Very difficult rebate... I called them again two weeks ago, they've told me the check will be cut sometimes at the end of May since they had to reprocess the materials sent by fax.

Anyone can do it. Just remember you'll wait 2-4 months to get your money back.

Why did it have to be reprocessed? Was it initially rejected?

As should be obvious, the delay here is in Peachtree sending them money. It's not in reprocessing it. It's in getting Peachtree to send Parago a check so Parago can pay us. I fail to understand why this is so difficult for so many people to comprehend. And unless Parago knows when the check will arrive (which TCA used to know and base their dates on), then any date they give you is probably a stock answer (e.g., please allow 6 weeks for processing).

Correct. The issue is SAGE not paying Parago... So Parago holds back everthing. So in order not having to break their own T&C, the will hold the rebate processing as much as they can.

The thing is that being a big money rebate, you want to make sure they do process it, so if after 4+ weeks they have not done so, you want to call/fax/whatever. Once they aprove those, the process date is the day you called/faxed, and then they will take 8-12 weeks to mail the check...

I don't mind waiting 3-4 months for the rebate, but I want to make sure it's in the system AND valid, so I don't have to get the 'oh, promotion is over - sorry !' line...

As an example, my original docs where not processed until 3/15 !!! Two months after. By this time I had already faxed them everything and they had created a new record... And that record, they already sent the check...

Sounds like this rebate is extremely slow.. I am looking forward to start one this week. Just wonder whether I can change my mailing address during the rebate? If it takes up to 6 months, I will very possibly have moved..
