The last time I bought peachtree, I did not have any problems PMing to geminicomputers.com. Some CSRs may try to add shipping charges. But, most of the people get PMed without any problems.

What is the definition of an "authorized reseller"? Geminicomputer must get their softwares from somewhere. If they get it from a distributor, are they not to be considered as "authorized resellers"?

Or is there more to it?

I sent them an email (via 'contact us') with a link to the lower price and in 15 minutes I got this reply:

Same here. When I called again later a different CSR said "You had called earlier and were told that they were not an authorized seller."

What about using bestbuy.com? they are lower in price. do they ever price match best buy? i'm going to give it a shot.

I just price matched using online chat 5 minutes ago. CSR mentioned $9.95 shipping charge but still gave me full PM amount about $46!!! Weird but good for me. -

I used http://www.geminicomputers.com for PM by the way.

Bought one at Staples.com, used a 30/150 coupon got from eBay. PMed to GeminiComputers.com to get $46.42 credit back. A very nice deal, thanks OP.
BUT I forgot FW cash (3% for Staples)

PM rejected by St***n, he said there is a note in my order that a PM was requested before, but was rejected since Geminicomputer is not an authorized seller. I know he was just lying since I never called, emailed or chatted about this order before, probably he left a note himself on-site Shame on you! St***n.
