i ordered one with $30 off $150 coupon and free DVD player. Somehow both coupons worked without any filler. I thought I would need $300 worth of items to use both (because both were for a min $150 purchase), but I'm not complaining

Very good point. Chances are Staples may not factor in the coupon, but you do have risk. This PM should be easy. You make even with PM and $200 rebate, the ~10% extra on PM + FC should cover your "huge" tax or almost. $40 one, as people said, just requires a call or email. Last October, with regular one, when they send me the rejection on 2nd rebate, I sent a email, and within hours it was approved. The rebate is slow, after nearly 3 month, my check issue date "expect to be 1/19/06." I think this company relies this kind of cash for operation (rebate center will not cut check unless they receive the fund) so they keep on delaying...

that means you lost money on your credit card
also means that your purchase is in Staples order system and wait for second step.
my experience is different: that means they can not fullfil by the default warehouse, and research for other warehouses to ship. Since warehouse maynot work on weekend/holiday (not the shipping, but those who do the office work), Tuesday your status will change to "delivery delayed" or you will receive a email/phone call for "sorry..."

Last post on this topic. Read Staples rebate form, it's not trustable. You probably need both UPC and registration to satisfy Peachtree, who issue check to you. Since it expires on 4/15/06, I will wait till I get my "cashflow" back ($165+20) from last one... This is a solid PM IMHO, corp review just because the amount is high (it seems these days anything above $50 needs corp approval). Unless they rewrite the PM policy (available on Staples.com, then customer service, new members may want to take a look). Add shipping? Tell them you are 5 minutes away from a BB.
