I'm trying to figure out why people were buying 2 or 3 Can one send in more than one rebate?
or are me and my roommate screwed because we both picked one up and have the same address?
If it is one per household, one of you can't get the rebate if you use the same address. Better have the other rebate sent to a different address. It would also be better if you have it on different receipts.

You 'could' put something like "Suite 100", "Suite 200", etc. I know my postal guy would deliver it to my address regardless of that, but it will clear the computer system at the rebate site.

anyone read the epson rebate? It states that "only one submission per Epson product purchased". Does anyone know if this will be a problem when sending in the bundle rebate also?
Anyone can share their experience with filing the rebates electronically? Are there any 'bugs' with their online submission? I know it will be processed faster than mail-in..but I'm just curious if there are problems associated with it. Thanks.
Anyone tried to submit the $50 Compaq rebate online? I went to HP site, pulled up the rebate, but received an error after entering in model & serial number.
The information you submitted does not provide eligible product model or serial number information for any current rebates. Please correct the model and serial numbers you entered and try again.

I input a receipt for a laptop I purchased on 12/19 with 2 rebates due, 1 for $300 and 1 for $15. Receipt was accepted within a couple of days, then validated, check(s) to be issued on 1/27.

Some of us had trouble with the $110 E-rebate from 1/1/06 but after a few emails and a call, mine was fixed. I'll try this one again.

I am also getting the same error. Guess it will have to be sent thru mail.
Any of you guys order instore when they were sold out. I have serious concerns and Im still wondering if this might present a problem with the rebate, the reciept says nothing at all about the computer/model/etc, it simply shows special order number. Does anyone else feel the same, or I am I thinking too much about this??

This looks like the correct link to the compaq $50 rebate:
not the www.HP.com/go/somethingforyou as listed on the rebate print out.

I got the same error too, for SR1710NX. I called the phone number on the rebate form. They told me that it was a known issue, though he didn't say precisely what the problem is. I asked whether we could wait until they resolve and try to submit online again, but the rep recommended that we just mail it in since they might not get to it for awhile. I expressed my concern whether the same validation problem might arise with the mail-ins, but he continued to recommend that I mail it in, and if by chance a non-compliance error arises, call them back then.
Just remember to make copies of your mail-in materials.

My guess is the problem is the form is bad and wants you to put in a model number and serial number for a monitor. Without the monitor info it gives an error thinking the form is incomplete.
Did anyone buy a monitor with this deal and try submitting the rebate form for $100 with all fields filled out?

I entered my rebate info at erebates last night and just checked to see my status and it says I haven't entered any receipts. How long does it take for the info to register?
Also I did a R&R, but they did the return to my cc and not store credit, so I only entered the last purchase receipt.
Tried calling the rebate ctr. but no calls are going thru.
I did a return back to my credit card and repurchased on another credit card on the 16th. Submitted the rebate online on the 17th and received "The following rebate(s) have been approved and will be mailed after the merchandise return period." on the 18th. BTW my receipt had no serial number on it, just the Cusa sku 335974 and CMPQ SR1710NX SEMP. HTH!
I also did a return/rebuy on the 15th. I submitted my rebate the same nite and it's still shows waiting for sales data....

Got my rebate figured out, submitted it a 2nd time and got it registering. Weird thing is first time I submitted it, I didn't get a 2nd page to enter my purchase total. After I clicked next, it took me back to the homepage.

I did a return/rebuy. I entered the newest receipt and it was waiting for sales data for 4 days. So, I decided to enter my original receipt and immediately, it showed up as approved. The newest receipt now shows no match but approval for original receipt.

Did a R+R on Sunday with Store credit, at first, input new receipt #: "waiting for sale data", then input old receipt #, the rebate was disappeared. Called on 1/18 and was told, will be reviewed and validated soon. Today, 1/24, still nothing show on the erebate.com. Called 4 times, but couldn't reach a agent. Took off UPC to mail the $50 RB, still unopened, if $200 won't fly, I don't know if I can return it.

Same thing happened with me and the CR told me it will take 14 -15 days. I entered my details here:

I tried to put in my original receipt, and the system told me that I already entered the information, though it was still not cleared. I guess I need to call, what a pain in the butt.
All the info in the OP says to throw away the rebates that printed with the receipts. Any reason not to use the register rebate forms for the PC and the 9.99 printer deal?
I've got 2 of the 1710. One was a R&R, but with a new receipt, it doesn't show the return, they did those transactions seperately for me.
Also, anyone see a problem with having 2 rebates on the Epson? The rebate form mentions not having multiple rebates for one product, not sure if they just mean multiple submissions of the same rebate or if multiple rebates will be denied period.
For the $50 CompUSA rebate, are you guys using the rebate form printed at the register that says something like "upto $100 rebate on the purchase of .." , or are you using the rebate form downloaded from their website which has 2 check boxes for monitor and computer seperately?
Just not sure which rebate form I should use.. any tips?

Well, when I signed up for the 200 dollar erebate it even said right there that if you had an exchange or anything you would need to add all the receipts into the system.

That's the one I had printed up as well, but is there any reason we can't use the ones that printed up with the purchase?

Guy and gals, BinkyBill stated in the other (bigger) thread that a CompUSA employee told him today that they would be having this very same deal again come Sunday and Monday. I don't know about you guys, but if that does turn out to be the case I'm definitely taking mine back...again!
Here is my situation:
I was one of the those who did a return buy on this (SR1710NX). Originally I was given one of those business receipts and then issued a regular receipt when I did the return buy. Being that this was my first time doing this, I didn't pay attention to the way the guy at the customer counter handled the return. I told him that I wanted to do a return buy, but apparently he issued me store credit and did the "buy back" that way (all rebate forms printed out when he did this by the way). Anyway, thinking that I had done a return buy, I initially only entered the newer receipt into the erebates site. After the status came back as "no purchases match receipt entered" (or something to that affect), I called customer service and was told to enter the first receipt. I did so. That was a week ago and the old receipt is still showing "on hold, waiting for sales data". So today I called customer service back and was told that the $200 rebate would not be valid on my purchase because the initial purchase already had a rebate attached to it (the $50 manufacturer's rebate). The newer $200 rebate could not overwrite the older one that was valid during the initial purchase date. I know, it doesn't make any sense to me either, but that's what he stated the reason was.
Although it's still showing the "on hold..." message under the status column, I'm going to be taking this thing back before the 21 days are up. There'll be more deals like this and $250 is just too much money to risk on this thing.
Has anyone who initially received a business receipt and then had a "store credit" receipt issued to them when they took it back been able to get to the "pending" status on erebates, or am I the only one going through this mess?

Did you mail the $50 Rebate with the original receipt? I did not do anything with the original, just R&R with store credit, and entered the new receipt second time (first time it disappeared after 1 day), and status still "on hold, waiting for sale datas"

What a hassle. I wonder if they do that on purpose. When I did my R&R I asked how they do it ahead of time. She said she would return to credit card first and I just said to make sure the return and purchase are on a new receipt.
Mine shows as pending in the system, I assume that is just until the 21 day return period is over though. How do people get approved so fast?
Can anyone answer why all the info says to use the links to the pdf.'s in the quick summary and not use the forms printed at the register?
here4kids said: How many are waiting for a second Epson rebate? I have received one, the other has not been heard from. I called and they told me to wait... that it should be worked on soon.
I bought 2 of these printers. Received the $50 check for both... still waiting for the $30.
