All the Staples near me are out of stock already! I want to do the return and rebuy. Looks like I'll have to drive 40 miles to get one now. |

if you look at the coupons, they both say that it cannot be combined with other coupons, especially the customer appreciation 12% off.
i HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt that you'll get both coupons. but kudos to anyone who can actually get it for this price. like i said...i really doubt it...
VERY YMMV!

KLineD said:Every Staples employee i've talked to so far agrees that there is a 3 (some say 7) day leniency period on all coupons (i believe 7 is only for rewards checks, 3 for other coupons).
One manager in Staples told me that he could override the Rebate checks upto 90 days later. He also said that he could also do it after that, but he will get questioned. My check was over 90 days old (I had just forgotten about it), so he told me to talk about it with customer service, and give him the CSR's name on the next visit so he could find out about the issue from the CSR. Iit seemed like he just wanted a justifiable reason for override - he was a really nice guy !!
But it is all YMMV depending on how good your manager is. |

cstring said:I think I'll use my $10 of $40 and see if it works, $159 isn't bad.
Why would you use a $10 off $40 coupon when I linked the $20 off $100 coupon?????
If the CSR lets you use the coupon the price of the monitor will be either $149 or $139 if the store lets you use a $30 off $150 coupon. (either expired or you might have one from your rewards checks, even though it states online and phone only, some managers will let you use it.) |

The 12% coupon can't be combined with "any other offer". That includes any coupon right? Very YMMV |

Some CSRs let you do that, some not. |

Can anyone tell me that it is going to be available on Staples.com? (I know 12% coupon is not accepted online) |

I went and got 2 (pricematching is better than not finding the monitor). Some other dude had the same idea. He was buying two at the same time I was. I looked at him, smiled and thought.... That's a fellow fatwaller!!!!! :-P Thanks OP. Green for ya... |

Yeah, combining coupons is YMMV, but it happens all the time. In fact, I would say my success rate is 65/35 combining multiple coupons.
Staples is a class act in my book. |

That's exactly my point. My Staples runs out of stuff right after they open their doors. I bought the two just in case. I will still try to go there and buy the monitors Sunday morning. But in case they are not there anymore, I'll return and rebuy it. If I find it and buy it on Sunday, I'll return the two I bought and make some other person happy (or a slick salesperson). |
