In the past 3 months, I filed 3 D-Link rebates and all of them are not showing up after 6 weeks of submission. The rebates were sent to Young America. After talked with CSR over the phone, they asked me to fax them copies. But 2 weeks passed, still no status showing up on their website www.web-rebates.com.

Watch out those D-LINK rebates. Personally I will not purchase any D-LINK products in the future.

BTW, I also find out that Young America is going down hill these days. I have a $100 HP printer bundle rebate handled by Young America. Three months passed by and there is no status showing up on their website either.

I agree. Young America sucks right now. I sent in an HP $70 rebate in early July. I called at the end of August when it hadn't shown up and was told to resubmit by fax. Today I noticed it the rebate still hadn't shown - I called and was told they don't have receipt of the fax and I was told to resubmit AGAIN by fax, to a different fax number.

Anyone have address to the BBB and Attorney General for Young America MN?

I agree with you guys. I mailed my D-link rebates for over 6 weeks now. Not shown up in their site. They tell me to wait for another week. If it doesn't appear by then, I may have to fax the stuff again

I also agree. D link rebates are poorly handled.

I do have a personal email address with a corporate customer service rep. I emailed her today and will hopefully hear back from her soon. I'll put my updates in this thread

Um... ANY rebates sent to www.web-rebates.com WILL have problems... D-Link, Corel, Sony or anyone that I've done in the past few months, if they have that website as the contact, I have had to resubmit 80% of them...

alert mods

Part of the problem is that about half of the submissions have information that is entered incorrectly resulting in the rebate being untrackable.

Same here! The problem I have is "Limit one rebate per product, per address". I mailed two UPC codes located in that single box with one coupon and one receipt, since I don't know which is the right one. Then I got rejection. I had to call them and got approved! Oh, twice. The first representative told me he would approve it but nothing happened in three days. The second one did after I told her this was the second call.

Watch out!!!

They seem to be very slow but they do generally show up.

Agree with the rebates being poorly handled. I sent in two rebates in seperate envelopes. One was for $10, the other for $20. They entered them both as the $10 promo, so one was rejected. I already received the $10 rebate, but still working on the $20. I had to resend paperwork by mail because they wouldn't let me fax it.

I just had one show up as "Submission did not include an original qualifying UPC from a D-Link product". Ugh..

alert mods

Aw, damn. I just took part in the Buy.com D-Link antenna offer. Guess i will be a long hard road ahead.

Is 800-532-1087 the correct fax for resubmission? I was told by CSR that this was the one. Resubmitted almost a month ago. Still nothing for a DI-524 router.

Would be interested in experiences. If you took part in the GCO frenzy recently, I wonder if you read the lower right corner of the rebate form. This is for rebate offer #11168. It EXCLUDES rebates from AAFES, BB, CC, CUSA, Costco, Fry's, J&R, Microcenter, OD, OM, Outpost.com, RadioShack, Staples, Target, and WalMart.

Is there anywhere else you would buy something??????

I think I just screwed myself. But I blame the e-tailers for linking on their websites while the rebates are not valid.

Anyone get their d-link rebates yet from the GCO frenzy? I've had only about half of mine show up on their website so far even though they were all sent in about a 3 week span and none have been received since 12/15......

I received one of my rebates ($10) for the D-Link router I bought from Buy.com around Thanksgiving, but that was probably because I did a fax resubmission for it. The other one ($15) is still "Processing"...

Problems with Young America and D-Link $35 rebate for the Wireless G Network Kit #DWL-922 from the Buy.com/GCO deal in December:

Just got an f'ed up email from Dlink about my rebate submission.

Submission did not include a qualifying original UPC from a D-Link product

There are 2 UPC's on the box; one on the top w/MAC id # AND the other is just a plain 'ole UPC on the bottom. I sent the one on the bottom because it looked EXACTLY like the pic of it in the sample on the rebate form.
Now I get that darn message from them.

What should I do? I thought I was correct!
Anyone else have that problem yet?

THX

Same scenario, sent in for offer11173 $35 for dwl-922, checked on line, nothing. I called and same thing, nothing. Have to resubmit and wait another 4-6 weeks. It takes them 2-3 weeks to resubmit the faxed info to the resubmission department. PITA.

I send in the rebate for DWL-922 as well, checked the web site in mid-jan, got the status, "ERROR, no UPC", since I always tape the UPC on the rebate form or receipt, I called them right away, was told by the CSR not to worry he will just override it. Checked a few days later, showed the status as Process, but only for $15 instead of $35, called again, gave the CSR the product info, etc. He said he was going to send a separate $20. A few days later, checked again, had TWO rebates in process under my name, one was still the $15, the other was for $20 under a completely different offer I have no clue about.

same here. i got in two rebates for my D-LINK wireless card. one for $10 and another for $20. the $10 got approved but the $20 denied. i called CSR and they said i was approved for the $20 and wait 4 weeks, yet the website clearly says i was denied and a non-compliance card was allegedly mailed on feb5, which i never got.

D-LINK means to me "money gone"
