Maybe we need to put pressure on Buy.com. They should stand behind the rebates.

Finally got the $15 rebate cheque yesterday.

The cheque was hand written and was post marked 04.02.07

The address on the envelope states

So it seems that this company is misleading by saying that
there is a separate rebate center since the address of Diablotek
is the same stated above. They just seemed to have added the "Rebate
Center" line at the top to have folks the impression that the rebate is being
handed elsewhere which doesn't seem to be the case

These folks have become smart and so whenever I tried option 3, it kept on saying busy
and so I tried option 1 instead or option 2 instead and all the time you get the same person.

called and spoke to "Joseph", he told me he would contact their rebate contractor and find out the status and email me back within 24 hours....we'll see

He was very nice and took my information and said he would contact the rebate contractor and e-mail me within 24 hours.

I asked if I could contact the rebate contractor myself and he said no. I think they are processing them in-house to save money.

I did get an e-mail from Diablotek today, 4-18, stating that they received many more MIR's than they expected and are processing them. When the contractor finds my rebate, I will hear from them.

I will wait until next week and then start to pressure them.

I advise anyone with an unpaid rebate to contact Diablotek and get after them.
