US Modular says this UPC is not original
But it was intentionally dog-eared, taped at an angle onto the rebate form, and then stapled as well.
Response from US Modular nearly 14 weeks after the rebate request was submitted:
Hi,
We have received your rebate however it was disqualified because you did not
include the original UPC. It is part of the terms and conditions portion of
the rebate form. You sent us just a copy of the UPC. Without the original
UPC we cannot approve and process any rebate.
Thanks,

http://www.usmodular.com/ <http://www.usmodular.com/>US Modular lays out an impossible rebate timeline
The timeline, an example:
Week 00 - Purchase date
Week 01 - Ship date
Week 02 -
Week 03 -
Week 04 -
Week 05 - Submit: "postmarked within 30 calendar days of ship date."
Week 06 -
Week 07 -
Week 08 - Resubmit: "8 weeks from purchase date to resubmit."
Week 09 -
Week 10 -
Week 11 -
Week 12 -
Week 13 - Process week 8: "checks..."
Week 14 - Process week 9: "...are ordinarily..."
Week 15 - Process week 10: "...processed within 8-10 weeks."
Week 16 -
Week 17 - Status: "after 12 weeks...email rebates@usmodular.com"
Note: "customer's responsibility to contact USM regarding status of rebate."
- So the customer must wait 12 weeks from the submission date to contact USM; the rebate check is not sent automatically.
- By that time, the deadline for resubmission, i.e., send "copies of all materials" submitted, has passed.
Is this a rebate that's intentionally designed not to be paid? Have you had a similar experience with US Modular?
