For the folks who purchased their Buffalo Router the week ending 4/21 here is a Rebate Tracking thread as the rebate center is rejecting ALL the rebates. I will post a few posts from the thread's end and then we can track the rebate nightmare here.

The Fax number they gave me for the Buffalo Technologies Resubmission Dept. is (800) 532 1087
Since I keep my copies at work, they will get a FAX from me first thing Monday morning.

I called and got the same run around. At first I received the fax, but then the CSR said that it wouldn't make a difference because the program number is not in the system at all. The program numbers below and above show up, but not this one. I asked for a supervisor and when she tried to transfer me, it hung up. I had enough with that and called Circuit City. Once I got to their "executive resolution" team, I was given a $10 credit back to my credit card.
dvpatel said: Guys. We have a huge problem. I called the Rebate Center again today. Here is the gyst of it.
Rebate Center claimed that the offer BT-0734 is invalid. Hence I cannot resubmit. Even if I resubmit, nothing will come out of it.
I called the Store I purchased the router from and they asked that I call the CC Rebate Center. The lady there after putting me on hold forever came back and asked me that I camm the Rebate Center and give them the Offer Number. I claimed that I had already done that 15 minutes prior and that the Rebate Center confirmed it twice that the offer did not exist. She put me on hold again forever and then came back and said that she had called the rebate center and all is well now and then transferred me there.
The rebate center woman (a different one from the prior conversaion), now claims the rebate is in the system (not sure why the other agent could not find it), but I cannot resubmit as the offer closed on 5/21.
WTF????
Now what? I have never lost a rebate but I just spent 45 minuntes getting shuffled between the rebate center, cc store, cc rebate house and back to rebate center. The address and FAX number the second agent gave me are the same ones posted but they were pretty sure the rebate is going to be denited as the offer already closed on 5/21.
Any ideas?
BTW: HowYoDoing, how does one get to this "Executive Resolution Team" at CC?
quincy2002 said: dvpatel - that's strange the runaround they gave you. I called this morning and the CSR gave me zero problems. He said to re-mail all the documentation to the address listed a few posts above this one. I asked if I could fax in the stuff instead and he said OK and gave me the fax number (the same one you posted). He gave me no indication that the rebate promotion was invalid or that I can't resubmit due to it being past 5/21. I faxed in the info and I'll check later to make sure they have me entered into the system.
You should call them back and get a different CSR. I don't know if they record or log what they say to customers, but they do and if you call back and get a "good" CSR then you'll be on record that they said you can resubmit.
I hope HowYouDoing responds with how to contact the "executive resolution" team, because I'm gonna call them too and see if they'll pony up the rebate.

I am sorry Sir but the rebate promotion is now CLOSED. So, you cannot resubmit the rebate. I had faxed in the copies of the rebate earlier this evening.
** Edit ** Forgot to mention they now asked me to call BT Customer Support at the number (800) 456 9799
** Edit #2 ** I called CC Rebate Support again. They are claiming they cannot do anything and I will have to take it up with the manufacturer as the MFR rebates are between the customer and MFR and have nothing to do with CC.
This don't look too good.

No sign of my rebate either. I just called them (6/12) and as with everybody else, no sign of my rebate. The CSR said i could resubmit and gave me the mailing address and fax number above for resubmission.
I'm rather disappointed, as this is the first rebate in a long time which the rebate center has "lost".

Well, that's positive that they said to resubmit. dvpatel had been getting the "it's too late to submit treatment". I too resubmitted by fax. I have no idea how long it'll take before the rebate should show up online. I'll give them a week or so and then call again if I have to.
No information on the tracking site for me either. Called the rebate center number and spoke with George (id 55321). He provided the FAX number (as listed previously) and asked for his name and ID number to marked on the FAX cover sheet along with my name and address. Resubmitting by FAX as I write this... irritating, but I'll give them a shot at fixing this. My purchase date was 4/20/2007 and the rebate was mailed out on or about 4/21/2007.
So far I have called the Buffalo 512 number listed on their website and got transferred to someone's voicemail and have not heard back. I have called and left a voice mail at the 800 number of Buffalo Customer service last night and have not heard back. I faxed in my rebate at around 4:00 PM yesterday and marked on the FAX to call me as soon as they got the fax to confirm receipt of the fax. Nobody has called about that either.
I go on a vacation Thursday (I might have online access) but when I do come back on or around the 23rd, if this is not resolved, I file BBB and Texas AG complaints against Buffalo and am also contemplating filing a complaint against CC (even though this is a MFR rebate issue but in cases like these, CC needs to can the sorry ass MFRs who don't pay up the rebates).
Update fellas. I got a call from Buffalo. A lady (I could not understand her asian name) is researching and calling the rebate center and then she will call me back she said. She also apologized for taking two days to call me back.
Anyone who got the PM and calls CC about this, please let me know how the conversation goes. I know it shouldn't matter with an mfg rebates, but I could see them bringing it up.
Isn't CC responsible? I downloaded the form from their site? I got $15 CC rebate, but I am not even in the system for $10 buffalo rebate.

I didn't buy this router, but I have ample experience with Young America. It is highly likely that they haven't processed a single one of these rebates and that they're sitting on them to enter them all at the same time (which happens a lot with Young America). I have had YA-processed rebates take TEN WEEKS after mailing to show up in their tracking system (with a "Date Received" of a week after I mailed them).
My point is that you should not feel that all is lost. Chances are they will all show up online in a few weeks.
Online tracking now shows my original rebate submission (marked as 'mail') plus the FAX resubmission (marked as C/S - customer service I presume). Both are shown as processing. No estimated finalization date.
Mine showed up online as well without any calls or fax resubmission. Unfortunately, it has an error status of "Submission was postmarked after offer end date". This is impossible since I purchased it on 04/16/07 and mailed it out on 04/24/07, well within the postmark date requirement of 30 days from purchase date. Guess I'll have to call them tomorrow.
Update 06/19/07 Call the rebate center yesterday, and they claimed the postmark date was 05/24/07 on the submission that I mailed out 04/24/07. I'm absolutely certain that I mailed this rebate out along with (3) other rebates that same day. One of which was the $15 CC rebate for this router, which I have already received the check. Without a copy of the actual letter with the postmark stamp by the USPS, I'm just going to pretend the submission was never received and fax my submission again. Hopefully, the resubmission department will create another record as described by others here.
Mine showed up too. "Your rebate has completed the first 2 of 4 steps A check request for $10.00 is being processed"

EDIT: nevermind, found the site, shows up as processing.
well i'm apparently the unlucky one here. nothing yet, but maybe I just mailed it in later than you all. I'll give them till end of tuesday and then fax it.

My rebate also shows up online, though I'm not sure if it's the original or the resubmission.
My rebate submission showing received on 4/25/2007 is still listed as being processed. According to the T&C, the rebate check should have been received within 6-8 weeks of the processing center receiving the submission. I called to check on the hold up and was told that the check would be mailed within 4 weeks. This is not acceptable and I requested the check be expedited. The representative said he would attempt to do so.
Recommend everyone else do likewise. Truly pathetic customer service even for a rebate processing center.

For those of you who are having trouble with Web Rebates you can fax or mail your resubmission to the contact person that I have listed below at Buffalo’s headquarters. Here is the response that I received from one of Buffalo’s representatives. I hope this helps some people in getting their rebate.
Our address is:
11100 Metric Blvd. Ste. 750 Austin Texas 78758
Be sure to include the copy of the UPC code and receipt.
Site indicates that the rebate check was finally mailed 10 weeks after the rebate center shows it as received. Resubmission to the rebate processing center (twice) and a fax to Buffalo Technology (and their calls to the rebate center) got this moving I guess. All for $10... Hope the next rebate series goes smoother.

Resubmission to the rebate processing center (twice) Meaningless. a fax to Buffalo Technology Also meaningless. (and their calls to the rebate center) Also meaningless.
I've said this before--RARELY will a call do ANYTHING to expedite mailing of a rebate check. If it makes you feel better, fine. Just know that the best course of action with the major rebate houses is to simply let nature take its course.
Let me also reiterate that it is often standard practice for GFS/Young America to sit on EVERY SUBMISSION from a given promotion until the "last submission date" passes, then process them all at the same time.

Perhaps, but the calls from Buffalo to the rebate processing center coincided with the rebate check being cut a day later (Buffalo called me twice with updates). I'm also happy to let the manufacturer know that the company they are paying to handle rebate processing for their customers is not meeting the T&C. Complaining to the C suite exec's at both the manufacturer and the rebate processing company has seemed to help - but maybe it was a placebo effect and gave me a chance to vent

mine finally went to "check approved." not the fastest rebate, but no harrassment needed if it indeed mails in the next few days.
