sandisk rebate Archived From: Deal Discussion

Sandisk rebate

i bought sandisk extreme III 8gb CF in may 2007 at Adorama.com with $60 mail in rebate... now sandisk is telling me that i didnt send the original UPC. i did send the original upc..i still have the original package with the upc cut off...

called sandisk rebate center and now they asking me to send a photocopy of the UPC..i dont have a photocopy

i need a photocopy of scandisk extreme III 8gb UPC bought from Adorama.. if someone has a photocopy and could email it to me would be very nice

thanx for your help


what should i do...this is clearly a fraud..sandisk is trying just not to send the mail in rebate for baseless reason

any suggestion?

first, _ALWAYS_ make copies of everything you submit. second see if you can locate a local business that is sell the same item and see if they will make you a copy of the UPC.

Not only do you always, always, always, photocopy everything you send (I even photocopy the envelope so they can't say I mailed it to the wrong address), but if it's a large rebate, I send it certified mail every time so they have to sign for it to prove they received it. I just read where someone said you should insure it also, since the rebate is based on the one of a kind UPC code, if it's lost, then the Post Office has to pay. I cannot verify that part so ymmv. Sandisk Rebate Scam BE AWARE... if they are offering you a rebate... be ready to wait for the rest of you life to get it... they will pull any possible trick to avoid paying you! You will have to contact the Federal Trade Comission (877) 382-4357 and the District Attorney's Office in Milpitas California (408) 586-3040 where the Sandisk headquorters is to get your money back ! Sandisk Rebate Scam... you've been warned!!!!

I got my rebate for $110 with out a problem.
if u follow the instructions properly then u will get it.
I have done more than 500 rebates and never failed (touch wood) except one onrebate stuff.
sandisk will honor your rebate.
there is website to print out or generate the upc code for any product.

upcdatabase.com just go there and print your upc. it may or may not b genuine (actual upc).
