Has anyone received their 3 or 5 free HD-DVDs from Toshiba? If so, how long did it take?

I ask because I had a bad experience with Toshiba back in 1997 when they had a similar offer for DVD players. Never got those movies.

Also, if you have received your movies, how many substitutions did they make?

Mailed 5 free HD DVD's form June 19, 2007 received the selected HD DVD's July 28, 2007.

Not all of us are so lucky. Mailed April 6th, and to date still have not received them. I have called them several times, and finally they said my dvds are ready to be shipped right now. Long wait though.......

I just called Toshiba to check on the status of my rebate. After 8 weeks they are "ready to ship".

You can call 800-405-7520 to check on the status, they were very helpful.

Just got a postcard saying that the shipment was being delayed until 9/15/07....and if I wanted to cancel to return the postcard...

I received the same postcard over the weekend. I am a few weeks behind you with a ship date of 9/27/07.

I am not sure how I went from "ready to ship" to this?

Do they actually expect people to cancel the rebate?

Lucky you.

I called mid september to check on the status of my rebate. I was told that three of the movies that I had selected were back-ordered and that it would take an extra couple of weeks. I called again last Friday (10/5/07) and was told that they shipped on 9/5/07 ? They could not explain how they had shipped prior to the back-order being cleared up or why I had not yet received my movies. So they will be shipping a new set.

My movies finally arrived last night 12/19/07. It only took 5 months.

I am sure that they sent them just to shut me up. I called the 800 number almost weekly to check on the status.

still waiting for mine... every time i call i get the order is processing response. going on 5 months now

think i will try the weekly call thing see if that speeds things up

Also received the exact 5 I requested.

I may try that trick of calling them every week. I was rather hoping the Black Friday WalMart HD/DVDs would arrive by Christmas, now I'm just hoping they'll someday arrive at all.

Off to find where I saved the scan of the rebate form...

Don't fear, they will arrive. I got my 5 yesterday after buying the $99 A2 WalMart deal on 11/2.

Does anyone have a copy of the HD-A2 UPC?

I need to resubmit my 5 Free and I have everything except that on my computer. for some reason I can't find it.

That is the exact address that is on the offer. I sent it 4 weeks ago and yesterday got in back from the post office saying "return to sender, not deliverable as addressed, unable to forward"

I sent mine in mid November to

and they have received it, although I'm yet to receive my DVDs.
