Got this back from CompUSA after buying a Trendnet Wireless router online through Google Checkout.

Rebates are not applicable to orders placed through Google.

The real question is--why would you use Google to shop at CompUSA.com? They don't offer any additional discounts--why involve a third party when there are store-sponsored rebates involved?

Cause you have all purchase history in one place whenever you need to look something up? I wish more places would start accepting GCO

I had 2 CUSA ER's invalidated for "Invalid payment type" (AMEX), and 2 invalidated for "Wrong State" (I placed order online and picked up at local store). It took much complaining, but they all appear to be resolved... or at lease BEING resolved. I don't have checks yet.

Update: my rebates went through fine (they are all showing as "pending") even though I used Google checkout. The CSR that smperkin (the OP) spoke to was apparently incorrect.
