Wonder if anyone else has come across this issue with the recent Cibavision Clear Care Rebate where you got a free 12 ounce bottle of the lens solution if you mailed in a receipt and UPC code from purchase. I did so about a month ago and was supposed to get $8.99 back. They mailed the rebate offer to my home, which is how I found out about it.
Well, I just went to wonderful rebates.cibavision.com to discover my rebate submission had been DECLINED because there as "No eye exam or fitting fee" receipt included. Of course, I have the offer in front of me and there was no eye exam or fitting fee REQUIRED! You just buy the solution and make in the receipt and UPS code with the form.
I guess most of their contact lens rebates DO require a eye exam or fitting fee receipt so some bozo set the system up incorrectly to require it for this also. Of course, when their system tells me via phone when I called that I am rejected, there only option is to "resubmit the claim to provide the missing information". No option for "IF WE SCREWED UP, PRESS 2"
I guess I have to find a live person on Monday to rebate. Don't ya love it?
