AverTV HD Volar Rebate Archived From: Deal Discussion

I got AverTV HD Volar @ Fry's BF sale. The $50 rebate stated original receipt, original UPC and postmark within 5 day.

Like most people, I put everything on one receipt. My question is what do I do about submitting original receipt, since I only have one receipt for say ten itmes. I prefer to keep the original receipt.

Anyone else thoughts on this? Do they just mean original rebate receipt? Or the actual receipt/invoice? Cuz the rebate form says original "Sales receipt". The original invoice is not a receipt, but the "rebate receipt" print out is an original.

For those that still have not done the rebate. If you have not yet submitted this rebate at this point make sure your return it or plan to keep for without the rebate

Rebate first showed up as approved, but then changed to:

We are currently unable to approve your rebate for the reason listed below.

We did not receive a rebate certificate with your request.

Called and spoke with CSR, who asked all kinds of questions, seemingly attempting to find a way to disqualify the submission. She eventually gave in, claimed to "override" the denial, but status has not yet changes on the web site - will give it a couple of days.

Make sure that you double check status.

I bought mine in the rebate period just before Christmas. My rebate is up on the website and looks good.

We have received your submission and it is being processed. The estimated mail date for your check is xx-Mar-2008.
