My issue-
I bought two on BF. I specifically asked if the rebate could be used on more than one when I bought it.
They printed out two rebate forms with the receipt. On the rebate form, there was NO limit per person or household, only a limit of one rebate per qualifying purchase.
So I submitted both rebate slips (one for each).
We received one, no problem (have the check already), but did not hear a peep about the other. So I called today. The first person did "broken record" technique, repeatedly indicating that the rebate was one per household. So I did the broken record, repeatedly indicating that that was nowhere stated on the rebate form and was directly in opposition to what Office Depot had told me. We probably spent 10 minutes saying the same thing back and forth to each other, until she finally indicated there was nothing further she could do for me, and I requested to speak to her supervisor. She put me on hold then said she was transferring me to her supervisor.
I waited, listening to a ringing phone, for 15 minutes, before hanging up and calling again. Got another rep, who looked up the info and indicate that OD was wrong, the offer was not limited to one per household, and that they would be mailing out my other rebate. I asked for email confirmation. Have not received it yet, and will call back if I do not receive the meail confirmation by Tuesday.
I have no problem with 1 per household if that is stated. But when it is not, and I check, I've followed the requirements of the policy, and should not have to jump through hoops to get it. Sigh.
