Hi there, a friend of mine is interested in doing surveys for some extra cash. She wanted to pay $40 through a website (not sure the name of it) for information on the ABC's of surveys. I always thought that they were scams in order to get your personal information and sell it. I have also heard of companies that do not pay at all.
I do not really think one should have to pay them (however they are) in order for them to make more money - people's opinion are worth a lot!
Anyway, the question is: Is there any reputable website (free) that would be usefull for starters?..... What sites do you guys recommend a newbie on this issue should start with?...
Thanks a lot for your help!

Correct, never PAY for anything of this nature -- that's the scam.
There are several sites that list the worthwhile sites, and this is a good place to start (don't bother with Field o' Green though). http://www.freepaidsurveys.net/files/starter.html
