I am looking to write a simple excel macro that will automatically delete a row with the following characteristics: If column A contains a text pattern XXX.A, the delete that entire row. Note XXX can be anything, but the ".A" is the unique identifier.
I have already done some google search but still didn't find a simple solution that works. Any help appreciated.

'Check to see if the selected row contains the ".a" or not and if so delete it
