I want to know more about Window 7 not from manufacturers, but from users. What are the best features of Window 7 for which you think that I was missing it.

W8 seems to be for computers that have not yet been made a lot, e.g. touchscreens.

The OP was asking about Windows 7, your points are all about Windows 8.

What's this "hybrid laptop" you're talking about?

It's a laptop that runs on carrots and gasoline.

I am pretty sure OP meant win 8 unless he has suddenly woken up after a decade.

Windows 7 has only been out 2 1/2 years, so there are plenty of people who haven't used it yet. A lot of people still have XP.

If the OP wants to come back and correct himself, that's fine. But he clearly wrote "Windows 7" in both the thread title and the first post. At the least, and comments on Windows 8 should be clearly marked as such.

Again, what are the "hybrid laptops" you mentioned?

One PC, two devices. Detach the screen to switch between full-function notebook and 3G multitouch slate tablet for mobile Internet.

Microsoft said that 90% of the laptops shipped with windows 8 will be hybrid laptops!

So you mean a tablet, like the Surface.

I don't think this is true. Actually, I think two things are untrue about it:

1) All Windows laptops shipped after Windows 8 is released will be Windows 8 laptops. This includes the cheapest netbook and the most advanced gaming or professional laptop. It's highly doubtful that 90% of these will be tablet form factors.

2) Microsoft never stated any such thing. There's nothing available online that shows MS ever stated anything like this.

following new features are included in Windows 7:
1. Improved performance on multi-core processors
2. Improved boot performance
3. Support for virtual hard disks
