Thank you, in all my years on various pc's I have never done that....
I never had a problem until now, still not sure that will fix it, I don't see why it would. Have not done it yet. Won't it kill all the sites that know me?

Clearing the cache and history can fix issues in your browser. Sometimes it reads stuff from those files that is corrupt / outdated causing sites to not display correctly. When browsers start acting up this is almost always the first troubleshooting step.
Yes, if you have cookies set with some sites they will no longer be set so you may need to sign back in on some sites.
