I'm looking for some Good Technical Sites / Forums where I can Search for the previously-asked-and-already-replied-to answers to my questions. I currently use Google, FW [Computers] and AT [Several Computer-Related Forums], but realize that there are MANY more.

I'd be glad to update this OP with LINKs if/when other FW'ers reply with their favorite Bookmarks.

TIA

The reason the capacitor problem exists in the first place is because of a large-scale industrial espionage foul-up. Some component manufacturers decided to steal an electrolyte formula from another competitor. Little be known to them, the stolen formula was incomplete and flawed. They didn't discover this until it was too late and they had manufactured and distributed literally MILLIONS of these flawed capacitors.]

Thanks for the great initial response everyone!

I initially tried cutting-n-pasting your LINKs, in alphabetical order, into my original post, but didn't like the (cluttered/unorganized) way it looked, so I took a stab at some group headings. The short descriptions are VERY helpful and welcome.

TheHelper

All types of problems.
Once in a blue moon, I find a Google Link to an answer on Experts Exchange, but the MAJORITY of the time, it wants me to SUBSCRIBE/PAY MONEY!!! to see the answer.

If it's strictly a "pay to view answers" site, gujjuguy (or anyone else that knows), please confirm so that I can note this in the OP, (or deny and explain to me what I'm doing wrong...)

Sorry... I think it is paid now though you can sign up as an expert and earn points. I became a member when it was free and had auto login enabled so didn't know they made it a paid service.

I have been using it for a year now and you can get an answer very quickly sometimes within minutes.

Anyways sorry about the wrong information.

Ok. I tried it and you can register as an expert. They will give you 125 points to play with at the beginning and you can ask questions using those points. Worth giving it a try IMHO.

This is great. Thanks OP
