It contains the following:
ArchiveType: RAR --> Internet\\Browsers\\firefox\\firefox\\components\\jar50.dll [DETECTION] Contains signature of the worm WORM/Bagz.A.5
How can I get rid of it without deleting the whole .rar file ?

Think you have a false positive. Just checked mine with System Suite 6, based on Trend Micro's engine, and said it was clean. Also see:
jar50.dll |

Just remove all of firefox from the archive.... pardon my ignorance but are they the same ?Mozilla is the organization that releases the open source browsers. They made the Mozilla Suite (Web-browser, e-mail/newsgroup, IRC, and HTML editor) and Firefox, which is only the browser.I am curious since it is under firefox but jar50.dll from Mozzila as skibump link point out.jar50.dll ships with both the Suite and with Firefox. skibump's link omits the later. |

Added article: Windows In Your Pocket
All it takes is a minor error in the Windows Registry or a virus infection, and your operating system can become unbootable. But with a properly configured USB flash drive on hand, you'll always have a compatible replacement no further away than your pocket or keychain. In addition, the flash drive can also provide a secure browser and virus scanner, and lets you take your favorite DVD burning and Office software with you wherever you may go.
All that's needed is a bootable USB Flash drive with at least 256 MB of storage capacity and a Windows Setup CD. Using the program Bart PE Builder (Freeware), you can install Windows XP on the flash drive, along with other software as needed (and as available space permits). |

Not necessarily. Most applications write settings to the registry and application folder on the local PC during installation. Many applications depend on platform runtimes such as VB, .Net, and Java which may not be installed on other machines. Some of these applications may also install specific .DLL files in the local PCs Windows directory which will not be available unless it has been installed on all PCs you run the app on. If an app requires these to run, it does not make it truly portable. |

Is there any portable VPN applications?
Currently our company is installing Cisco VPN clients on all laptops.
But I am wondering if there's a portable version where you can travel with just a USB drive but yet still be able to connect to company's internal network via VPN from any computer in the world connected to the internet. |

luppo said:Is there any portable VPN applications? Most VPN programs require installation & administrative access to the machine. There are portable VPNs that sit between the network jack on a PC & whatever external router you'd normally connect directly.
Otherwise, a portable VPN would require at least a virtual machine, if not actually be a bootable OS. Both of these options are out there (to run Linux (which you can install VPN software for) on any PC). |

As quoted by a user here: 7zip can be made portable thats how i use it just install it on the usb drive instead of the hard drive and use the 7zFM.exe instead of the 7z.exe when you run it. Should work fine it does for me. 7-Zip
Let us know how it works out for you. |

regarding "window in your pocket"
Can you make the drive like a bootable Window xp installer? so instead of carrying the cd around, i can just hook this baby up and reboot to new copy of window? |
