Sorry, I was reading after 12-hr shift

Was it just me or did anyone read it as Oprah 8.02 ?

what's use of this software?

postcrapper said: what's use of this software?

it's like IE and firefox

I use firefox, is this any better or different? Firefox has me kind of spoiled.

... just without the security exploits. not because it's a secure browser, but only because it's not as popular.

Opera is a really nice web browser. It is defintely worth trying out the full version for free.

I use FireFox for most of my browsing, but Opera is a worthy alternative and has many features.

Is this a limited trial version, as in will this only last for 2 weeks?

I realize this is free, so it's great to people who use it. But I have to ask, why pay for something that should be free? Charging for a web browser is bullspit IMO. I'll take Firefox and their quick patches for security holes anyday.

FREE IS ALWAYS GOOD THANKS OP

Great. Love Opera. Even better without the ads. THANKS OP!!

Green for you

Learn to use 'em and you'll never go back.
Good find OP.
..only thing I don't like is some sites (like my bank) don't like the browser.

Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks... -> File -> Import from Netscape/IE/...

No firefox but I am using 7.54 so maybe 8.0 has more ...

BTW, thanks OP!

Firefox is slow compared to Opera

Opera Rocks!

Oh, leeman already said that.

After using Opera for a few years IE, and even Firefox really get on my nerves.

Fan of Opera for years. I says Opera performs better than Firefox in memory management and speed. Also good for those using dial up since it cache webpages pretty well.

Alot of sites still doesn't support Opera though like the new Staples.com

Dial up? What planet are you on? Mars or Jupiter?

yeah opera is badass. although sometimes the cache wont clearout and sites wont refresh/update
