Ummm, I find it VERY interesting that there is no reference to this product ANYWHERE on Microsoft's website(s) - any of them! Contrary to the ideawins website statement, it is NOT listed as one of the Office 2007 programs (still in Beta, by the way). Here is a link to show ALL the different programs in the different versions of Office that will be available.
I could be wrong as I don't work for MS and don't know everything about their plans but ...

I find it VERY interesting that you have no idea how to search.
The ideawins.com website is owned by Microsoft. A Whois search revealed...

I am a MSDN Subscriber so I am WELL aware of MS Office Accounting 2007 BETA, and have been for a long time. I am also a 25-year IT veteran but I didn't do the whois search so I should have found the ideawins ownership reference. Not to mention the MS copyright notice (but hey, hackers have done phishing sites that are VERY believable.)
HOWEVER, show me any reference to a full or final version of anything (non-Beta, in other words)called "Microsoft Office Accounting 2007 Express." anywhere on the main MS or Office site. There isn't one. Thus my post.
Interesting way to launch a new product, and I am pretty surprised I didn't see it in my monthly DVD shipment, but I will be checking it out.
By the way, "smartypants" was NOT my first choice.

By the way, "smartypants" was NOT my first choice. If U're really a 25-yr IT vet, you should've done a whois and find out the answer. I agree that there is no where on the site saying that this is a FULL VERSION. When was the last time MS has given out a FULL VERSION for free? The OP either mistakenly says it on the title or gets too excited about download this new product

The whole idea behind this is so that the partners can gear up to sell the professional version when it comes out.
And this is the full version of the express edition. Exactly as it says in the title.

It costs $$$ to develop this software and MS is giving it away for free? Maybe this is part of Microsoft marketing strategy.
