Google Wave invites

Google started sending out invites for Wave today. http://wave.google.com/

I'm creating this thread to help FWers share invites with other members.

I've read that each user gets 8 invites to share.

I haven't received my invite from Google yet (I signed up early on), but when I do, I will share invites here and am hoping others will do the same.

Add your email address to the wiki to have invites shared.

interesting. Nice to see this technology coming to the masses. Amazing what 10 years can do...that's when I did my first Audio / Video / application / web sharing. (Where both ends can see, edit and save any given file)

I doubt people will be handing out Wave invites to strangers, when I get my invites I will be saving them for when I work on group projects with co-workers and classmates.

Uh Oh AJAX Apps - 10/6/2009

Basically, no embedding interactive applications on your website using AJAX... They already patented it.

Microsoft already lost a half a billion lawsuit by this company. They now have precedence. Considering they got around half a billion from Microsoft, I wonder how much they can squeeze from these other companies. Thats enough to cause Nasdaq to crash.

They are now going after:

Actually, it sounds like it's not even limited to AJAX. It's pretty much any use of web technology to embed an interactive application, including the uses of plugin like Flash, Java Silverlight, and any other.

I hate it that they didn't even come out with the technologies to enable these things.

I assume any Flash games are infrigement of the patent, too. Oh, and any online emails?
