Be one of the first to try Norton 360 Version 4.0! This beta test version of Norton 360 Version 4.0 is the fastest, most effective all-in-one solution we have ever offered. Norton 360 Version 4.0 provides comprehensive, automated protection for your PC, files, and online identity. The latest upgrade of Norton 360 offers superior performance, improved protection, and easier and faster backups.
I'm not a fan of Norton 360 in any case, but keep in mind that this is a beta. Yes it's free, but beta means it's not quite done yet and they are asking you to test it for them and help them by reporting any issues that arise. If you want to do that, great. If you are looking for a finished product to protect your system... well, you're taking a bit of a chance.
Their stuff of late is pretty good actually. They suffered through some performance issues on past versions. This looks like 3.0 wrapped up for Windows 7. Only thing I wonder is how many updates will you get and is there an expiration?

It will expire in 90 days. Save your work, it is not worth it to try the Beta software. For a year, maybe.

beta version software is test version we don't what it will do with your OS as you install the beta version, they gather the info of its running.
