Once you have completed six (6) Online Sessions under any eBay.com account, you will no longer be eligible to receive CashBack Rewards for purchases made under such eBay.com account. If you have exceeded the limit of permitted CashBack Rewards, eBay will notify you on the purchase review page of the "Buy-It-Now" transaction process So if you are not notified on the " purchase review page", then you are ok for the CashBack on the transaction? |

This offer requires you to check out on eBay / PayPal but this seller requires a third-party checkout. even though the ONLY payment the seller allows is paypal? i get the same error from another seller that takes many forms of payment (paypal being one of them)
What item is it? Try going through the purchase process for the same item with another seller. If it's happening all over, eBay could be curtailing which items are eligible for CashBack as per their category. i was trying to buy a canon xsi slr camera. it happened with 2 sellers. i'll try a few other sellers and some other items i guess... :/ |

Can someone refresh me on the Paypal Echeck payment method and the length of time before a CashBack message will appear in "My Messages"? 1) Is it from the clearing date or the date of initiated payment? 2) Should it appear right away, or after clearing...? I think I've answered my own question, but I'd appreciate the refresher. |

Just went to PURCHASE a gift card w/ BIN and this is what I got. Anyone Else? The only time I've seen this is when I try to SELL gift cards. Hmmm..... Please enter the correct information for the following fields: Dear Seller The sale of gift cards is permitted on eBay as long as all of the following conditions are met:
The value of the gift card does not exceed $500
Only one gift card is listed per week, per seller Multiple gift cards are not combined under a single listing The gift card is not offered as a pre-sale item For more information on the Gift Cards policy, please visit: http://pages.eBay.com/help/policies/gift.html EDIT: HMMM.....eEbay will not let the transaction go through. Keeps bringing me back to that screen!
FWIW the auction is a gift certificate and is listed under gift certificates. Giving up for now...will try again in the AM. |

UPDATE: It appears that the Bay is now limiting purchases on Gift cards, or even "Gift certificates" to a max of $500 per transaction. When I changed to quantity to drop below $500, it worked fine. Hmm....if this was common knowledge I didn't know about it. If it was discussed in the thread, I missed it. If it is new...well...it just makes life more challenging doesn't it? |

I got that message earlier this week, but it was just some type of warning message or so I think, I hit the confirmation byton and it wound up going away and I was able to buy one of the 1k gift cards listing I wanted. |

I got the warning mentioned above a couple of weeks ago, and there's always been a $500 limit on the value of gift cards being sold. |

have they changed the terms again?? It looks like they have some completed auctions for over $500 recently. I hope this doesn't change as I plan on selling some. |
