DEAL IS DEAD: YOU CAN GET IN ON THIS DEAL ONLY IF YOU WERE SENT AN INVITE

Promo Link
NOTE: THIS OFFER appears to be targeted only for current Zecco trading clients. July 16th email evidence

toll free = 866-567-0295

mmy trade experience
"On the left side click on the Xau/Usd that will add that to the top then by lot i typed 1 hit buy then i hit continue typed in 1 and then hit sell"

EUR/USD trade may be less volatile than other currency pairs

Bonus paid withing 3-5 days following 1st trade (note: bonus based on balance in account AT TIME of TRADE)

Funding via credit card is treated as a purchase per Zecco rep.

The fine print indicates just 10,000 is required for $200 bonus eligibility. However, the opening splash page indicates 10,001 deposit required for $200 bonus eligibility.

The opening deposit can be done with a CC and appears to be counted as a purchase. Limited to $5k per deposit, but the bonus is determined based on the account balance at the time of the first trade.

NO HARD credit pull

1 person has reported that the credit card deposit counted as cash advance. cash advance
1 person has reported that the credit card deposit counted as purchase Schwab purchase

chase Amazon - purchase (billionen)

People please: those of you in a panic over a possible cash advance, just call your card issuer and LOWER your cash advance limit BELOW what you're going to try to fund at. Worst case is the transaction doesn't go through if they try to run it as a cash advance then. CC companies don't let you blow through a cash advance limit like they might on your overall credit line.

Evan requested withdrawal after funding with a credit card and was told "As you have made several large credit card deposits to your FOREX.com account in and do not appear to be actively trading, we will be sending your funds back to the original funding source. We reserve the right to send the funds back to the original funding source, which is the credit card in this case." (props to DukeBoy for keeping FW in the loop)

Updated the QS with some useful info from the other thread that jackcrawfish found out.

The only reason this post was first was because I took the time to post links and ToSs... but I see you savages don't care about little things like quality anymore.

Approval is rapid. I was logged in to my account within 45 minutes of initial application. "Congratulations, your Zecco Forex application has been approved!"I called and was also told there is no hard credit inquiry.

wouldn't the easiest way to ensure it's a purchase is to use a card (or call your cc company and have lowered) with a cash advance limit less than the amount you're trying to fund? That way, I believe if they tried to run it as a cash advance, the transaction would simply get rejected, and you could fund through "normal" methods.

LOL, looks like I found the next temporary home for my Irwin Bank free HDTV money!

Dang it... Couldn't the threads have been consolidated rather than locking the one with all the relevant questions/discussion?

Anyway:
To qualify for cash bonus, you must open and fund a new Zecco Forex trading account by July 31, 2009. After first trade is initiated, cash bonus will be deposited to your account within 3-5 business days (1). Existing Zecco Forex customers who have funded and traded are not eligible to receive this promotion (2).

(1) Doesn't sound like you need to keep your 10k in after you receive your bonus.
(2) Damn-it to hell, looks like existing (or previous) Succo customers are out.

Warning to anyone who actually trades with Zecco, especially day trades with larger positions, I had their entire system go down on me about 3 times in a few months last year. The first time, I watched in disgust as a $800 winner turn into a $500 loser as it plummeted through all my stops which never activated... Infuriated I waited on hold for almost an hour as not even the website was available.

The good news is that by the time I actually got through to someone the position was only down $500, whereas a half hour ago it was down over $1.2k... Zecco's response? "Sorry." Then they actually had the nerve to try and charge me for a broker assisted trade. Never day traded with Zecco again, but tried multi-day position trading only to see more of the same garbage for a few months. Left, never went back and am happy about it.

Get in, get your bonus, get out.

(for those interested in alerting your issuer of a large purchase)

When I called to alert my issuer of the $5000 charge, they had already approved the authorization from "Gain Capital"

It does not show up from Zecco Forex....

jackrawfish: Can you still fund with your CC (I mean by logging into your a/c now; after the appl. process is complete)?

The Zecco Forex division seems to be run through Gain Capital, which is behind several other Forex firms as well, such as forex.com. Forex.com accounts can be funded by a credit card--but when you want to withdraw money, withdrawals may be done by a credit to the same credit card used for the initial funding. This reverses any credit card rewards earned.

I can't find any information on the Zecco site that clarifies this issue for its Forex product. So consider this note a warning to be careful--or to not count on the credit card rewards...

Thanks for the heads up! If what you say is true for Zecco as well, the CC funding can at best be used as a float and not lose any interest while the money is lying in your zecco a/c.
Do you have personal experience with forex.com or is the withdrawal policy documented somewhere in forex.com?

Can somebody explain a little bit how to trade option contract? I did my research, but still don't know how to do that at Zecco Forex.

Or anyone knows another cheap way to get the bonus?

Also, what about ACAT transfers to another brokerage and then withdrawing the money.

Here is some info. from their FAQ

How do I withdraw money from my account?
Self directed clients, please login to MyAccount.

If your account is being managed by a third party, or you are unable to access MyAccount, click here to request a withdrawal.

If you funded your account with US Dollars:

There is no fee for withdrawal requests via check. Withdrawal requests via wire transfer will incur a $25 fee for wires within the United States, and $40 fee for international wires (including Canada).

If you funded your Zecco Forex account with a non-USD deposit, your US dollar account balance will be converted back to the currency you initially deposited, and your funds will be wired back to the originating bank account. A fee of US$40 will be assessed.

Withdrawal requests are processed within two (2) business days of receipt.

It seems like we can withdraw by check. Can anyone who has a Forex login confirm what options they have under their "MyAccount".
