I booked a car with this code and got a weekly rental for $135 in Phoenix. The question is, will I need to present a coupon at the time of rental? The website mentioned that I might be required to do that. Plus when I tried to do the "online check-in" procedure which allows you to print your documents and skip the line (going directly to your car), it would not let me check in online because the reservation contained a coupon. |
Unfortunately you can not use online check in with a coupon but you can use the Kiosk to avoid the counter. The coupon in the offer is an ecoupon - I have never had to show it. |

Alamo is notorious for hidden charges i.e. $15 fee if returning early or late, even if by 1 hr, then their 2 hrs charge is equal to full day's rate, the grace peiod is only 30 min and not 1 hr. I rented a car at their Chicago airport for $57 and the 1 hr late caused me $41.27 charge and now 2 months later they charged another $15 (by their audit dept). Hertz and Enterprise are still the best car rental companies. I travel each week so know the culprits. |

It may only be valid in the US. A lot of Alamo.com offers do not work in Canada. |
