Good find OP. I was planning on staying there in August anyways, and this will save me some more money.
Must be a member of the One Pass frequent flyer program for this deal also. Link to sign up is below.
June 1st - September 4th, Sunday thru Thursday only.
That is $42 bucks a night, That is a good price for the Nugget but there are plenty of Vegas rooms in that price range or lower. And during the summer, prices at the Nugget will be right around there.
This one is not on the strip. So not my choice.

But at least no porn slappers lol.
Prices range from 59-69 on the low end for this period.

Haha I hear that. Gotta love the porn slappers, especially if you have little kids. They will have a whole handful with one walk down the strip. Anyway, with the new renovations, it doesn't get much better than the Nugget for the price. Great pool.

I stayed at the Golden Nugget once during CES a few years ago. Nice rooms. While not on the strip, if you have a car it's usually not a problem commuting to the mega-resorts, although traffic can get heavy. Downtown is a different experience and a bit cheaper.
new owners have put a ton of cash into the hotel/casino the pool now has a waterslide that goes thru a shark tank for 42 bucks this is a fantastic deal
if you have a car and plan on doing a lot of non-strip activities --- then downtown can be very convenient
the mega resorts have a built-in 20-40 minute hassle involved in getting from your room to being on the road in your car
although downtown has little frills --- in my opinion, it is a huge advantage to be a few minutes from my horse and the highway
...
I hate when people say things like no strip no care. Or since I only stay at the palazzo this is a terrible deal. Stupid eliteist. This is a killer deal. Nice find
I heard they are having a big construction next to south tower and they work 'til very late, anyone stay there recently can tell us how bad it is?
I stayed there May 7-10. There is major construction going on. They have a 24 hour work permit, so they can work around the clock. We had a North Tower room, maybe 6th floor, overlooking the construction. With the room fan on we never heard construction noises. The checkin desk did give us earplugs at check in, but we never used them.
You can hear construction noise from the parking garage. I stayed in the South tower, and heard nothing. They are replacing a lot of mattresses and cleaning carpets and right now. There was a sign on the door notifying me the carpet and furniture might be damp, but I think they should have told me at check-in.
BUMP for more recent status on construction at the Nugget. Is the Shark tank pool affected?? Thanks
