Walt Disney World typically raises their prices by about 10% the first Sunday in August (August 3rd this year). That means that this is the final week to buy WDW tickets at the 2007 prices. Since the 14-day expiration on the tickets doesn't start until you use them (unused tickets are good forever) this would be a very good time to buy if you are planning to go to Walt Disney World in the next year. I searched around and compared prices before my last trip (looking at AAA, ticketsatwork, and other discount ticket sources). By far the cheapest was UndercoverTourist.com when you used the "MouseSavers" promotion code of 1OO732. To apply the code, just go to http://www.undercovertourist.com/united-states/florida/orlando/attractions/tickets/?pid=1OO732. A cookie with the promotion code will be set so that you get these prices if you return to the site. You can tell you are getting the discount if the page says "Welcome Mouse Savers enjoy your special prices". If you want to view the non-discounted prices again you need to clear your cookies. I am not affiliated with Undercover Tourist or Mousesavers, but I have used them in the past and been very happy. Unlike tickets purchased from Disney, Undercover Tourist lets you return tickets (with a 10% fee), and offer a 100% Hurricane Guarantee. They also keep a record of your ticket numbers so that if you lose them they can fax your numbers to Disney and get your tickets reissued. Again, this isn't a referral offer or anything, I'm just a satisfied customer. Another hint for Walt Disney World tickets is that once you use them the first time, you can upgrade them by paying the difference between the full price of your ticket and the full price of the ticket you want to upgrade to (if you don't use it first you pay the difference between the wholesale price of your ticket and the full price of what you are upgrading to, which can be quite a bit more money). Because of this, it makes sense to buy the ticket with the most savings, not the ticket that's exactly what you want. For example, a 7-day base ticket is $13 off the gate price but a 10-day base ticket is only $7 off the gate price. Therefore, if you are going for 10 days you save $6 per ticket by buying the 7-day ticket and adding three more days at Guest Relations in the theme parks.
