I'm planning to go to Hong Kong for a few days and was trying to find a hotel that's cheap. So far, most of them cost about 100 US per night. I'm going with some 5 other friends so we might need at least 2 to 3 rooms for 3 nights. I wanted to see if anyone have any insight they can help me. Thanks in advance.
I also failed to get a decent hotel room in HK last November via the usual websites (include Priceline).
I think airbnb.com is the best option for you. Since you have so many people, you can probably just rent the entire apartment (like a giant suite) and not share with anyone else. I was able to find rooms for ~$30/ night at a good convenient location quite easily. I think you can probably find something nice for under $120/night for an apartment.
