Did you go to CheapTickets.com? I just tried JFK from 7/18 to 7/22, and a price of $61 came up. Clearly a price mistake on cheaptickets part. Great if they will honor it.

I went directly to icelandair.com. Now when I go to cheaptickets, I get: $1276 Adult x 1 $1276 Total (USD)
thanks for the deal! my parents and my friends parents are going from the 19th to the 24th....if you guys want a cheap hotel book through icelandair.. they we able to get the Hotel Loftleiğir for 170ish a night (which if youve been looking for hotels know is cheap.. well for a 4star).. its a little far from the city center 2km but with a free shuttle/taxis/walking it sometimes it will be ok... ranked #7 on trip advisor as far as hotels in Reykjavik go...
i dont know how many people got in on this but im tryin to search for some car rental... the cheapest i can find is over 100$ / day...anybody got anything better?

I stayed at the Loftleider. I dont think its a 4 star hotel but it wasnt bad. It wasnt in town though.

deals dead but i got in while it was still going. $61. three tickets roundtrip from jun.19-23. and two of my friends from chicago are going the same days, same plane.
im looking up lodging. if you don't mind youth hostels you can get 20 dollars a day. but i hear you can also rent apartments for $100 a night vs. $200 at a hotel.
