Free Weekend Day + 5760339 contract code + 10009262 - double class upgrade = big savings.
Great deal. I've been watching rental car deals for a November trip. This has given me an awesome deal! Beats out all other coupons/companies I've tried so far. Thanks OP.

Holy goodness- that works great! Half of the best deal I had before! Crazy what a bunch of little numbers can do. CRAZINESS!
Thanks.

Thnaks, I got a great rate for Fort Myers over Thanksgiving
Just tried this combination for an upcoming trip to Tucson. Got a Luxury car for about $40 more than an Intermediate through Thrifty. Not bad! But don't they ask you for the coupons when you check in? I see that it says "one coupon per National rental." I'd hate to get stuck having to make a reservation on the spot if I got denied. (I didn't even see the actual coupon for the double upgrade.) Wonder if I should try it, but keep my original reservation with Thrifty just in case. I'd rather not just be a "no show" if I can help it, though. There are still no penalties for that with rental cars, I think.
I have rented for years using the contract codes and coupon IDs. Never been asked for anything. If you are nervous call National and ask if you need anything other than your divers license when you confirm the reservation.
It actually looks like they changed their site since yesterday. None of the links go to the printable coupons anymore. The $15 off link is just dead (for me, at least). EDIT Strange. If you go to the NationalCar website, and click on one of the ecoupon links, then look at the address, it just points to their homepage.

Any codes that work for London? I keep getting COUPON ID not found or not valid for pick ups over there
What is up with # of coupon with every coupon id ? ( From the select list, it is from 0 to 7 ) Does anybody know ?

for example if you put 2 of the "2 class car upgrade" u can actually choose economy and get SUV or minivan or premium...depends on location
for some reason there website is all messed up and it shows so many different rates im confused. I booked the SUV for 90 bucks for 3 weekend days but it didnt work wen i called it in.
so i decided to play it safer and jus get a minvan with ONLY ONE coupon even though they dont allow minivan rentals using the two upgrade coupon. too bad thier stupid site let me and if they try to contest it, i have corporate contract ID, emerald club ID, AMEX who i will call and do something? about it. I have 7 people so I figured a van would be best.
Play around with thier site maybe you'll get a good deal. I would recocmend you not to put 2 of anything, but just one. That way they cannot contest it later. Also if you use the op's best code he lsits it, underage fee is only 10/day rahter than 25-35/day..

I have booked a vacation package to Maui, Hawaii through NorthWest Airlines World Vacations, it includes a car rental (a convertible) from National. Can I use any of the contract id/coupon codes listed in this thread? If so how? Anybody did this successfully before?
I am especially interested in the following:
coupon code 10009585 - this coupon code gives a free two car class upgrade" which includes an extra 400 WorldPerks bonus miles on top of the usual WorldPerks miles one of the printed coupons
Also I have to add my wife as an additional driver, are there any coupons to do that for free?
Thanks.

If you put in the 10009262 coupon code with a choice of your other contract ID (use the one lsited as "best") then pick premium car and it will automatically upgrade you to convertible...donno about the price differences though. Additional drivers are free if you jsu sign up for emerald club like right now and get a number cause spouses in immediate families are free.
Just a word of warning. Got a call a few minutes ago from their TUS office infoming me that I would need to bring in the upgrade coupon before they would honor it. They said when they pull up the number, the screen tells them its a paper coupon. If it does, they ask for it when you come in. Wasn't worth the trouble for me. I cancelled. Without that, I can get a better rate through Alamo. YMMV.
You can print out the upgrade coupons from the links listed in the post. As far as the double upgrade, I used it in June with no problem at Orange County.
Best to ask what is needed when confirming your reservation. I always do that with the local National to see what type of cars they have available for my trip.
BTW, if you get better deals eslewhere share them with the group. Please.
I don't normally deal with National, so most of the coupons/rates I pay attention to are (for instance) Alamo, which would be OT in this thread. If I see any, though, I'll post.
EDIT Ok, in the interest of giving back to FW and after wasting WAY too much time on this, I finally got a printable version of the infamous double upgrade offer: Enjoy Note that it says "When you pay with your American Express." If you don't, YMMV.

Without that, I can get a better rate through Alamo. YMMV. Believe me! They WILL and DO REQUIRE a coupon- I speak from experience. When you enter in your reservation online it will accept the codes and allow the discount, BUT when you are at the counter they REQUIRE the actual coupon in order to get the discount. The coupon is just like cash to the rental office. So without the coupon when you get to the counter you end up paying their regular price, which is no deal at all.

Offer valid through December 31, 2005. 24-hour reservation is required. Request Coupon Code 10009537 and Contract I.D. I used Contract ID Code for NACDA/6402639 and got almost 50% saving on a SUV in Orlando. Since I do not belong to NACDA or know of any NACDA convention in orlando at the time I shall be there, what are the chances that they would ask for proof of my affiliation to NACDA? Has anyone had any experience about being asked to provide any proof for the contract id affiliation? Is it safe to use?
Thanx in advance.
BTW Green for you OP. Great post/thread.
EDIT on Nov.5th:
I completed my trip. Since I had the emerald club membership, went directly to the Aisles/parking lot bypassing the counter compeletly at Orlando airport. Picked my SUV, loaded the family up and drove to the counter and handed my driving license, a copy of the email (which does NOT include the contract ID, as opposed to the printout taken from National site) and my credit card to the lady at the counter. She did not bat an eyelid at my huge discount and waved my thru in 2 minutes.
NO proof of affiliation asked for by them or provided by me (since I had none)
